Hand posture

Place one wood loosely between thumb and forefinger diagonally across the ball of the hand.
Use the other clave to strike the horizontal clave in the center.

Hand posture of the clave holder:
Attach a clave to the resonating body by means of a ring rubber. Place the resonating body between thumb and index finger in the hand. With the second clave, strike the center of the horizontal clave.
